Smart Torque Automotive is owned and operated by Richard and Natalie Hudson and their team. Rich handles things in the workshop, while Nat runs the ‘front of house’ and administrative functions. They operate as a great team, providing a customer-focused experience from beginning to end.
Rich originally qualified in New Zealand, in a deregulated market with no local manufacturing. Because replacement parts had to be imported, they were expensive. Providing the best value to the customer meant fixing the problem right the first time, not simply replacing the parts and crossing his fingers.
Rich still runs his shop like we’re in New Zealand, focusing on diagnosing the problem and fixing it rather than replacing parts and simply hoping for the best.
