Excellent experience today after I rang first up in the morning, dropped everything and rearranged their day to help out a new customer in a jam. Nothing was too much trouble, professional and friendly service from everyone. Upfront and honest with costing, excellent knowledge and advice.
Clean and tidy workshop and reception obvious pride in their work.
Being new to the area can make it hard to find a good mechanic where you are confident of best service best price and reliable.

I was broken down in a town I was not familiar with, my car was not going anywhere at all and I made the call and was met by Leigh who is nothing short of amazing, she got as much info as possible in regards to my problem and made sure the parts were available right away for a quick repair. Richie is an absolute saint and I can't thank him enough for getting me back on the road!
Every single problem was discussed with me and explained to me in a way that I could easily understand what exactly was wrong with my car, no over-inflated prices and I was consulted with prior to every part being replaced. No surprises or anything just genuine and wonderful customer service with a personal focus to ensure that I was happy and looked after. I live in Cessnock and I refuse to take my car anywhere else now, it will be going back to Smart Torque for everything it needs. Car is running A1 now and I could not be happier. Thank you again guys!

All too often I have had local experiences where I have been brushed off or told ‘Nah too busy this week’ without even asking for my name or number. Not Rich and Natalie - they really know how to retain their customers and keep them happy..the other reviews and their business awards speak for themselves!
They took the time to explain the job required (repair broken brake hose and bleed brakes), gave a quote within 5 minutes and ordered the part while I was there, which came in at $100-200 cheaper than 3 other local mechanics. Their pricing is another plus and this does not come at compromised shoddy workmanship.
Look no further for a genuine trusted mechanic who will treat you like family. Highly recommended - won’t take my vehicles anywhere else! Cheers from Chloe & Shaun

Best mechanic in town for price, customer service and quality! I took my Audi A1 in here a couple of months ago for a regular service and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Was originally quoted over $1000 by Audi and some other mechanics, but these guys quoted $800 (I think) originally. When I went in to pick my car up they said some of the parts ended up being cheaper than their quote so took the price down again for me! Most mechanics would keep the price the same and make a bit of extra money. Couldn’t recommend higher, and great to support a locally run, family business.

I have used the team at Smart Torque for the last few years for services and repairs for my motor vehicles. I was very excited last month when I realised they were also able to service the inboard engine on my Lewis ski boat just in time for the new season. I normally have to take a day to drive the boat down to Tuggerah, but not this year. The boat has now had it's service and also the first run for the season and ran perfectly.
